It's not unclear to see that I've not posted on here for a little while now but I've had quite a manic end to 2015. I ran into working some long hours, had some issues with my health (it's okay, I'm on the mend now) and just life in general getting in the way a bit, causing me to feel awfully stressed. This isn't a healthy way for me to deal with these situations so I know that I need to make some changes.

I want 2016 to be a better, more positive year and the first thing that I want to do is get back into blogging again. Every moment I spent putting ideas together, creating the posts and changing up the look, I enjoyed it so much and it let me bring out the creative side of me that I rarely get to show and utilise.

I've got some ideas in what I want to post next year so I'm already looking forward in sharing these with you but if there is anything you'd like to see on my blog, then please let me know in the comments below.

Let 2016 be the year you want it to be. Don't let anyone or anything change what you want to accomplish.

Body Shop have been creating such gems recently that it encouraged me go in there more than ever. Looking at the minimalistic display, that was the Spa of the World range, the small brown bag caught my eye (and my purse) and this latest purchase is just another item to my ever-growing bath & beauty collection.



After thoroughly enjoying my bath, my skin did feel smooth. I felt quite relaxed but I think the next time I have a bath, I would probably put more of the product in just because I felt that I could have got a lot more out of using this the first time.  At £14, it seems a lot for what it is but it's the cheapest in the range, with the creams and scrubs being over £20, so I kind of feel that I want try and make it last as long as possible. I will just add an additional scoop next time and see if that makes any difference. If I could, I would probably easily use it all in one go, but that would mean £14 goes down the drain (literally) on the first and last use.

I would buy this again and would recommend it to my fellow friends/bath-lovers. Have you tried it? What did you think?

A few weeks ago, whilst I was having a browse around Debenhams, my curious mind encouraged me to go over to the MAC counter, just to have a little look. I left with two lipsticks... I took the plunge and purchased my first bundle of MAC products. I give you, Hot Gossip and Speed Dial.

I find that I don't treat myself often enough when it comes to bath products. Primarily because I'm more of a shower person but I'm quite fussy in what I use, mainly in terms of smell. Normally, I go for the bubbles but wanted to change it up a bit.

I gotta say, I'm a Primark fan. I know many people dislike it for many different reasons, but I love it! I haven't had a big Primark spend for a while and during March, I found myself going there on tw0 different occasions. I'd buy pieces on my first trip but then would think about something I didn't buy, so then I'd go back to purchase it but pick up additional items and do the same thing again. Any excuse for me to go back is what it seems like. In light of this, I thought I'd share with you on what I purchased from Primark during the month of March.

The first thing I picked up was this simple red top, with a scallop hem and flower detailing. I feel that I could easily wear this in both smart and casual attire so thought, why not, it's pretty. I got this for £5.


After I picked up the top, I turned my head to the left and I was caught by this really pretty kimono waistcoat. I don't have anything like this and with Summer coming up, I thought this would be a nice addition to any outfit. It's white with some tassels at the bottom, which can cause issues if I wear this near my cats. This was £12, which I thought was reasonable.
The next thing I placed in the bag was this cute pastel lilac jumper. I don't own anything in this colour and seeing as Spring is here, I thought it would add a pop of colour to my wardrobe. Jumpers being jumpers, it can easily fray, so stay away from anything pointy. This was priced at £8, which isn't too bad in my opinion.

Next up is this really cute heart necklace. The thing I like about this is, is that it's not a pendant, so you don't go losing it around your neck. It's in a fixed place, where it should be. I picked it up because it had a heart on it and it was only £1.50, which is a bargain.
Another necklace here. This is a double curved necklace. I don't really know how to describe it but you can see in the picture what it looks like. I don't have any like this. I normally go for small necklaces so this is different for me but thought it looked nice. I bagged this one for £2.50.

Right behind me were a wall of sunglasses to which I picked up this black pair. I don't have any in this type. I normally have the Wayfarer style ones but wanted something different to wear this summer and thankfully, they don't fit horribly on my face. These were priced at £2, which I couldn't turn down.



When I ended my first trip, I couldn't stop thinking about these biscuit pyjama bottoms. When I initially saw them, I wasn't 100% sure about getting them but after a day or two, I had to go back and get them. I mean, come on. They are biscuit printed pyjama bottoms. Why wouldn't you want them? They are comfy and lightweight so I don't find myself getting hot or anything in them, now that the weather is getting slightly nicer. I got these bad boys for £5. Best £5 ever spent.

In the store I shop in, the nightwear is close to the homeware, so I wanted to have a little snoop around, see if there was anything I could buy.

Yep, I did it. I bought the Flamingo bedding. What I like about Primark's bedding is they have fun designs and have it on both sides. Incase I felt that the pink was a bit too much, I can turn it over for the opposing colours (and vice versa). For £9, I couldn't say no to a Flamingo (see what I did there?)... Moving on.
Because I bought the bedding, my brain decided that it would make sense I get the flamingo cushion to go with it. Although it's a different shade of pink, it still goes nicely with the bedding. I would imagine this is used more as a decorative piece but I slept on it once, and it's actually rather comfortable. Glad I got this and it's only £4, which is super-duper.


As I was heading back to the women's section, I stumbled across these cute lace trimmed socks. I originally thought they were dots, but they are actually bits of cotton on the socks so they did feel a bit weird when I first started walking around in them but they've all been squished on the bottom now, so it's all good. These were only £1.50 so, in they went.

Next item is this grey roll neck poncho. I'm liking ponchos at the moment, as I got one for my birthday, so I thought I'd add another. The only downside to this is that it has separate armholes, so I can't put them under the material, like you would with a blanket. But apart from that, it's snuggly, soft and was only £5. I believe this was in the sale and can't remember original price, sorry.


When I went to the jewellery section, I grabbed this pack of 6 bracelets. They all have some sort of pendant on them (heart shaped mainly, which made me want to get them), but the top 4 have the letters L O V E on them, respectively, which was cute. Although they are priced at £2 as per the sticker, I noticed on the receipt they are down as £1. Not sure if that's a pricing error or it's genuine, but they are cute.

Something else that caught my eye was this pretty greeny-turquoisy blouse, with a white flower pattern. Like the red one, I could easily wear this as part of a smart of casual outfit and it's not a colour I posses much of and at £4 again, I didn't turn this down.


Before I headed to the checkout, I wanted to see if they had these specific jogging bottoms, as I don't really have any that I can just wear around the house. Luckily, they did have what I was looking for and didn't hesitate and grabbing some. Like the pyjama bottoms, they are lightweight material and super comfy to wear. These were only £4.90, although I'm sure they were priced differently on the label.

I cannot believe that February has already ended. It went by far too quickly for my liking but what that means is, is that I can share with you my favourite products that I used during the course of the month. Let's get started.

Benefit Cosmetics | Roller Lash Mascara

Earlier in the month, I heard that Benefit were going to be bringing out a new mascara called Roller Lash (I love what they call their products). I was thinking about buying it as I've heard good things on their other mascaras but, the best thing happened! After browsing on my social media, I saw that there was a free sample of the Roller Lash mascara with Elle Magazine and from that moment on, I decided I would have to wonder to a shop to pick a copy up.

As soon as I got home, I opened all the packaging and there in my hand, was the cutest little mascara ever. I proceeded to cover my eyelashes and I was quickly impressed with the results, with the thought to myself that this is going to be something I'm going to pick up once I've finished the sample. I already have fairly long lashes anyway, but Roller Lash just helps add curl and volume and makes my eyes stand out.

I even recommended this to one of my friends and even she said it's a lovely product to use and would recommend it to any of her friends.

Lush Cosmetics | Prince Charming Shower Gel

As February is the proud owner of Valentine's Day, Lush released all their Valentine's Day products, which included the Prince Charming shower gel. After smelling it in the shop, I was in heaven, so in the basket it went, at a very fast pace. I only got the smallest size because it only seems to be me who uses them and they do go a long way. However, I actually found out that my boyfriend was sneakily using it when he'd shower. I thought I was going mad, thinking I was using more than I thought when in actual fact, he wanted to smell like marshmallows and pomegranate juice. But he also said that it doesn't irritate his skin, which is a plus! Might have to get him some of his own Lush products.

To be fair to him, the ingredients of this shower gel work together so well, and makes the bathroom smell amazing. Seeing as it was a favourite for not only me, but my boyfriend, I took the plunge and got a bigger bottle. I worried as it was after Valentine's Day when I wanted to get one, thinking they wouldn't have any left but I was in luck. Hopefully we can make it last a while, but I will definitely pick this up next year if they bring it out again.

The Body Shop | Moringa Eau De Toilette

I got this little gem as part of a gift set that I got for Christmas and although I didn't really use it to start with, I've taken a real shine to it this month. I've found that you don't have to spray too much on yourself to make it noticeable as it's quite strong and because of it's diddy size, it can easily be put into a small bag so you can take it with you on a night out, or even a meal out with friends. This is the first Body Shop fragrance that I own and would be keen to take a trip to Body Shop to check out what else they have.

Soap & Glory | Hand Maid Hand Cleansing Gel

Now, this is something else! I seem to be a bit late on the band wagon with this, but better late than never. My friend recommended this to me a while back, but didn't buy it until recently and I'm super glad I did. As you can see, I've used pretty much all of the bottle so I wish they could make a bigger version, or even make it into a hand wash! YES! I'm onto something. It smells so fruity and fresh and keeps my hands feeling clean. I have this sat on my desk at work but it can easily pop in your bag, but I'd be cautious incase it leaks and you don't want the contents being all sticky, although, it would smell nice though! Overall, I would recommend this to anyone and would happily purchase it again.

Twinings | Cherry Bakewell Green Tea


I've been a lover of green tea for a while now and I'm not afraid at trying new flavours. During the month, I saw that Twinings bought out a new flavour called Cherry Bakewell and OH MY GOSH, this tea is AMAZING! My love for cherry bakewells has just gone up to a new level. It tastes like it smells and I enjoy drinking this at home and work, as it keeps me away from carbonated, sweet drinks. I've only had one favourite prior to this, but this will be joining the leader of the pack.

So, 2015 has arrived, and I already feel like I've failed at doing this blog, but seeing as we have now started a new year, what better way for me to get into this and get some posts up for you guys!

As I work full time, it will be hard for me to post anything on weekdays, but weekends, will turn into blogends (nah, that doesn't really work, does it?). Whenever I have any free time, I will spend it on my blog.

I do shop an awful lot (too much if you ask me), especially when a new season is on the horizon, so I'm thinking of maybe doing some clothes hauls in the near future. I'm bit of a Primark fan so no doubt you'll see cheeky pieces appearing within this blog.

I'm really excited to see what this brings me. I'm hoping that you will like what I feature but any suggestions you may have, feel free to comment below!
